An army choir performs in Tichotice and afterwards there is a dance, where two friends, Corporal Milan and Sergeant Karel, both fall for the same girl. Helena Bušková comes from Prague and is on vacation in Tichotice to recover. The pretty young woman prefers Milan and he falls in love with her. But is she who she says she is?
