Dis-Moi Que Je Rêve plot

The main character is the 19-year-old retarded farmer's son Julien Ducret, who prefers to talk to his favorite cow. He grew up in a messy farming family. Mother prefers to wave away all problems with a smile, father communicates with cosmonauts in space, brother and sister are in puberty and grandmother is on the verge of dementia. But grandma reveals the secret during family therapy: there is another son. Born with a disability and left in an institution for the mentally handicapped by the parents.
