Die Jagd nach dem Stiefel plot
Berlin 1932. In a working-class neighborhood a communist pioneer/leader is found dead and apparently the man was beaten to death. But instead of actually investigating the case, the police go to great lengths to blame the murder on the deceased's communist friends. Finally, Kurt Büttner, a close friend and peer of the victim, is arrested, although he keeps claiming that he is innocent. To prove his father's innocence, 12-year-old son Jack sets out to solve the case himself. With the help of his friends, he begins a meticulous investigation and ends up with an SA man, whose exact same boot print is found at the scene of the crime.
