Die Glasbläserin plot

Christmas, 1890. Sisters Marie and Johanna Steinmann are left alone after the sudden death of their father. Marie would like to take over her father's glassworks, but she encounters resistance from the other glassblowers in the area. To keep the business afloat, the sisters are forced to hire uneducated and cheap workers.
