Die Farbe des Ozeans plot

The young German couple Paul and Nathalie are celebrating their holiday in Gran Canaria. A boat full of refugees from Africa reaches the Spanish coast and two of those on board, Zola and his son Mamadou, ask Nathalie for water. Moments later, father and son are taken to a refugee camp, but they manage to escape. Against Paul's will, Nathalie decides to help the two refugees. Zola and Mamadou fall into the hands of a smuggler's gang and Nathalie ends up at the police station and is interrogated by Officer José.
