Die Ärztin plot

Divorced thirties Inga (Anja Kling) works in a hospital as a surgeon for organ operations. She befriends patient Birgit (Saskia Vester). He urgently needs a new liver, which is not in stock. Doggedly she is committed to a good chance of survival for the woman. Only the arrival of the handsome anesthetist Jonas (Götz Schubert) can distract her somewhat.
