Devcátko plot
Girlie is the intimate portrait of a seventeen-year-old girl, Ema, of her dreams and desires. Ema lives in the suburbs of a modern city, between the large concrete blocks of flats, cramped apartments and the second-hand shop where she works. In her quest for happiness, she changes men and tells the truth to everyone she meets. The adventures of Ema, who has a modern and somewhat troubled relationship with her mother, stretch over a few days. Ema's mother is also looking for happiness and a new man. She mainly does this during the dance lessons she takes in a nightclub. Step by step we meet all the other characters - especially men - who influence the lives of the two women to a greater or lesser extent.
