A dangerous tiger roams the jungle of Eschnapur. Maharaja Chandra and his retinue hunt the animal and capture it. They come across a man named Count Sartor, who claims to have lost his comrades in the jungle. The Maharaja offers his hospitality. Arriving at the palace, however, turns out to be not who he claims to be.
