Sequel to part 1: 'Der Schwarzwaldhof'. Veronika Hofer (Vester) decides to take over the management of the family hotel after the tragic death of her husband Curt Hofer. This much to the dismay of her mother-in-law Dora (Zech). She has found a new life partner through her mother-in-law: Sebastian Claasen (Stokowski). But now there is another problem. Her own daughter Merle doesn't like that she has a new stepfather.
