Der Schatz plot

In and around a clockmaker near Marburg, there is a story that a treasure was hidden during the Turkish invasion of 1683. Everyone thinks it is a nonsense story, except an old worker there, who thinks that the treasure must be buried are in the clockmaker's house. A young traveling worker who has fallen in love with the clockmaker's daughter, Beate, finds the whole story ridiculous. The daughter convinces him that her father is not crazy. Soon the traveler begins to search for himself, and finds the treasure.
