Der Klosterjäger plot

A film about a poor farmer who has so little to eat that he goes poaching and is caught red-handed by the monastery's gamekeeper. He stabs him but regrets his deed and takes the life-threateningly injured Koddebeier to the farmyard, where his stepsister, who is an illegitimate child of a count, takes care of the gamekeeper. The two fall in love, but the gamekeeper fears that the feudal lord will disapprove of a marriage.
