Demetra in Esilio plot

It is summer in Milan; the city is quiet, and a mother and her young daughters, Daria and Lia, continue with their daily activities. Daria no longer leaves the house and has created a small ecosystem of plants in the apartment. Lia only goes out to do groceries and to work on her art project, inspired by the myth of Demeter and Persephone. It is the images she films outside her home that gradually lead her to recognize her own destiny.
