De Toorn plot

A story set in a small, tightly closed community led by The Shepherd, a conservative autocrat with an aversion to all worldly temptations. The hamlet is accidentally visited by a wandering musician and a puppeteer. At that moment, the villagers discover that imagination and fantasy do exist, and everything changes.
