De l'Histoire Ancienne plot

The French resistance fighters who are shot during the Second World War: that is the subject of the thesis that Olivier wants to make to finish his studies for a doctorate in history. A fascinating subject that makes Olivier want to know more and more about it. Guy, his friend and a bookseller, provides him with the necessary books for his research, but Olivier also wants to contact his friend's father. That man is a former hero of the resistance and miraculously escaped a mass execution at the end of the war.
