De l'Autre Côté du Mur plot

A couple in need buys a house to try and make a fresh start. Since they live here, the wife refuses to have sex with her insistent husband. But when he replaces the lamp in the stairs leading to the cellar, he discovers a hole in the wall that will disrupt the intimate life of the couple. After several nights, the man decides to close the hole, only to find it open again a few days later. Then he decides to find out what is on the other side of the wall. Is this such a good idea?
