De Andere Kant van de Tunnel plot

Three young people promise each other to achieve success in life and give each other a year to realize their dreams. Martijn, manager of the rock band Second Edition, dreams of a career as a poet. He falls in love with the beautiful singer Nathalie, but does not want to invest much in it. When it turns out that his desire doesn't match his parents' expectations, he drops out of school and starts gambling. He works himself deeper and deeper into debt. He not only loses his own money, but also that of his band and his girlfriend Nathalie, who has the ambition to become a singer. When Martijn is put aside by the group, he ends up in social isolation.
