Das Traurige Leben der Gloria S plot

The filmmaker Charlotte has an artistic crisis. She wants to make a political film and dig deep into the lives of socially disadvantaged women. Looking for a lone aid worker, she meets Gloria Schneider, who at first glance leads an incredibly sad life. What Charlotte doesn't know is that Gloria is a (not very successful) theater actress who, during her casting, really plays all her insecure fellow participants, effortlessly with a false life history from the stage.
