Julia is a forty-year-old operator who has only one great passion: the danzón, a popular dance with strict rules that is both voluptuous and reserved. She is a regular visitor to dancing Columbia where she has already won many prizes with her dance partner Carmelo. When one day Carmelo does not show up, she decides to look for him.
