Con la Vida Hicieron Fuego plot

A man named Quico Carola is an alleged war hero who 'fought' on the side of the Republicans. He then emigrated to America and after making a fortune, he returns to his homeland in Asturias, where he looks for a woman who can make him forget his deceased girlfriend. In Tolonen, a nearby village, the widow Amandina meets Quico Carola's requirements to maintain a relationship.
