CODA plot

Alex has been between two worlds all her life. As CODA - a child of deaf adults - she grew up with two parents who cannot hear. But she can hear and also exists in that world. Being pulled back and forth between the two worlds has been difficult all her life, and the divisions within her have affected all aspects of her life. This also applies to her aspiration to become a choreographer. Then she meets the deaf Josh, a charming, handsome and friendly drummer. Alex falls for Josh and pretends to be deaf to fit into his world more easily. But when Josh discovers the truth, Alex is forced to unite these two worlds.
