"Clowning around can be serious business."

Clown Sim is fired from the French circus where he works for a disagreement. When he returns to Australia, he learns that Ranthow, the owner of the Australian circus where Sim's clown career began, has passed away. Ranthow left him half of the circus. However, it is in very bad shape financially.
