City of Motherly Love plot

Young, overworked and underpaid, Ashley Freeman is caught up in a struggle against time as she faces the hardships and obligations of a single mother to her son Davie. In a tragic coincidence, her son dies, leaving her with what she used to have least, namely time. But that time is now filled with thoughts of the father of the child who abandoned her, and the sudden and violent death of her only son and a shattered past.
