Chouf plot
“Chouf” means "the look" in Arabic. It is the name of drug network lookouts in Marseille. A brilliant student, 24-year-old Sofiane becomes a gang member in his neighborhood after the murder of his brother, a local Arab leader. To find the killers, Sofiane is prepared for anything. He leaves his family, says goodbye to his studies and makes rapid progress in what he wants to achieve. He is swept up in a violence that exceeds him. So Sofiane discovers the truth and has to make choices.
