Chopin - Bilder einer Trennung plot
Around 1840 in Paris. Frederic Chopin, only 30 years old, is at the peak of his career as a composer. In the salons of the French capital, he has become the most sought-after piano artist. The collaboration between him and the writer George Sand has ended his nomadic existence. She is enchanted by the music of her lover, Frederic. Chopin, for his part, likes his girlfriend George's books. For several years and in a regular rhythm, the two lived with George Sand's children, in the winter in Paris and in the summer season in the author's country house in Hohant, in the Berry region, 300 kilometers south of Paris. Sand loves to take trips in the area from here, together with the children, Chopin and their respective guests. Often such 'trips' even last several days.
