Children in the Crossfire plot

"In the streets of Northern Ireland, they were taught to hate..."

Amid whistling bullets and burnt-out buildings, a group of Catholic and Protestant children is affiliated with 'Children's Committee 10'. This organization aims to close age-old political and social divides by allowing children to spend a summer together with host families in America. Four Belfast children, two boys and two girls, call themselves the 'Summertime Yanks'. They must fight together and meet each other, in the safe environment of Southern California.
