Cerca de la Frontera plot
Journalist Esteban flees to Argentina's northern border. In the Buenos Aires of 1978 he is not sure of his life: he is threatened because of an article of his hand that has caused bad blood. Driven by fear and inner conflict, he decides to leave the city head over heels. But it turns out to be impossible to cross the border. He returns to a village near the border, where he stays with Father Gabriel, a priest whose ideas and attitude to life are far removed from those of the traditional church. Esteban also meets Marina and Margarita, also people with a strong philosophy, who make a deep impression on him.
