Cas Lásky a Nadeje plot

Tereza is a cheerful and ambitious girl who is dissatisfied with her undervalued job as a maid and decides to quit this job with the Countess. She meets Second Lieutenant Egon at a party. He is stationed in Klatovy, where Tereza has an aunt. They meet again at a carnival and Egon duels to save Tereza's honour. Tereza tends to Egon's wounds and the two fall in love.
