Carlita's Secret plot
Carlita (Eva Longoria), a beautiful young woman, becomes indirectly involved in a major drug deal. She is forced to flee and go into hiding for several years in order to escape the police. Once the years have passed, she decides to step out of anonymity and work under a different name in a successful nightclub. But at the same time, a detective has reopened the drug case and, for the second time in her life, she is in grave danger. Will she try to flee again or will she confront the past this time?
