Captives of Care plot

Robyn Bishop starts working as a nurse in 'Leumeah', an Australian nursing home for the severely disabled. The residents have had enough of the impersonal way they are treated. They want to be seen as human beings and have some degree of autonomy. In 1973 they turn to the media to achieve their goal. Robyn sides with the residents.
