Eddie Rickenbacker experimented with aviation from an early age, working in a car factory to pay for his flying adventures from his backyard. In World War I, he joined the Air Force and became a feared fighter who took down most of the enemies ever. After the war he retired, but in the Second World War he decided to lend a helping hand again, but this time there were bigger problems.
