Cainà - La Figlia dell'Isola plot

A young, determined girl named Cainà is tired of living in a small village. She leaves the village and goes on a ship to Italy as a stowaway. But she is soon discovered by the captain and given a temporary stay. A while later she returns to the village, which feels betrayed.
