C'était Maintenant plot

Vincent is 35 and lives happily with his wife Mathilde and his children, until the day when a tragic event turns everything upside down. His wife dies. This causes a shock to the widower who feels lost. He would like to meet new people and share certain desires, but soon feelings of guilt start to surface. He has the impression of betraying Mathilde. He tries to tell his friends about it, but he has a hard time expressing his feelings. For her part, Laurence who is in her 40s is finding it increasingly difficult in the relationship with her husband. She decides to leave him and seeks support from Elisa, her best friend. Fate will cause her to meet Vincent next.
