Büyük Adam Küçük Ask plot
Hejar is a 5-year-old Kurdish girl, whose parents were killed by the police. Her uncle brings her to Istanbul so that she can stay with her aunt. However, the police also raid there and kill everyone present. Only Hejar escapes and is rescued by neighbor Rifat, a conservative judge. This judge doubts whether he should report the girl, which would mean that she will be killed, since she witnessed the massacre. After this tragedy, the gruff Rifat is increasingly aware of the injustice and violence perpetrated against the Kurdish minority by the state. At first he forbids Hejar to speak her native language, but more and more he becomes attached to this stubborn child.
