Buon Natale... Buon Anno plot
Story about a middle-aged couple who have to sell their house because of debts. The man then moves in with one daughter and the woman with the other daughter. They soon become slaves to the respective families and are hardly allowed to see each other anymore. They even have to meet in secret. After five excruciating years, they prepare an escape.
