In 2003, in the wake of the SARS epidemic, passionate reporter Han Dong gave up job security to pursue his dream of living in the city. He is caught by journalist Huang Jiang, who notices Dong's writing talent and offers him an internship at his newspaper. One day he stumbles upon the trade in forged health certificates.
