Bride of the Wind plot

Vienna 1902, Alma Schindler meets Gustav Mahler, she is pretty, young, plays and composes music, her lust and her life. She becomes Mahler's lover and he marries her, asking her to give up composing. She has two children, works as his assistant, keeps him out of debt but feels ignored. In 1910, after the death of one of her children, she retires to a rest home where she meets Walter Gropius and falls in love.
