Bôryoku no Machi plot

Kita is a young green reporter for Daito Shinbun in Tojo, a peaceful town and home to a clandestine textile industry. Despite pressure from Onishi, the local yakuza boss, Kita continues to report uncompromisingly on the illegal textile trade and the failure of law enforcement to do something about it. When things get too dangerous, Kita turns to his boss Sagawa for help, who decides to turn to the national media.
