"Parents get divorced....often it's the children who must cope"

When his parents decide to divorce, Jeremy's (Robin Dunne) world collapses like a house of cards. His mother (Stephanie Zimbalist) decides to move to Windsor, while his father (Corbin Benson) continues to live in Detroit with his older brother. Jeremy becomes entangled in their gruesome battle for custody. At his new Canadian school, he meets Beth (Catarina Scorsone), a tough girl dealing with her parents' divorce in her own way. The sports coach forces Jeremy to push himself to the limit. Everyone tries to claim a piece of Jeremy and that gradually becomes an untenable situation...
