Blood Cells plot
Great Britain today. Adam, the son of Irish parents, was expected to grow up on his family's farm and eventually settle there. The foot-and-mouth disease epidemic of 2001 resulted in the destruction of livestock. After the catastrophe, Adam leaves his parental home. He spends years on the fringes of British society and he suffers from the pain of the past. He has several jobs and broken relationships. When his younger brother Aiden approaches him to celebrate the birth of his first child, he faces a dilemma: will he come home, or will he never come home?
