"Here's the Heart-beat of the College Rhythm!"

Joanne Leeds, who works for the circus, takes a break from her singing career to enroll in Upton University. Joanne soon gets into a fight with snobbish student union representative Gloria Campbell because of her background. But then this association for students is reorganized according to democratic principles and Joanne is still invited to become a member.
