Bent plot

"In a time of war, they found themselves in the most dangerous place of all. In love."

Max is gay, and for that he is arrested by the Nazi Germans, and sent to a concentration camp. Because he doesn't want to be labeled gay and not get a pink star, he says he's Jewish and gets a yellow star. But when he falls in love with fellow inmate Horst, who does wear a pink star, Max doesn't remember.
