Beethoven Lives Upstairs plot

Christoph, the son of a landlady in 19th century Vienna, meets Ludwig Van Beethoven when the composer rents an apartment to work on his 9th Symphony. To Christoph's horror, Beethoven is a rude, muddled and destructive man, and only after a while does Christoph begin to understand the fearful and deaf genius and they become friends.
