Barbara Wood: Sturmjahre plot

England, around 1800. The young doctor's daughter Samantha (Tanja Wedhorn) succeeds as the first woman to be admitted to study medicine. What must remain a secret, however, is her relationship with another student, Mark (Patrick Rapold). When he is suddenly called away to the United States to assist his ailing father, Samantha is left alone, which is a boon to her career.
