In 1961, Besnik, a translator, is present at a conference where he witnesses a huge rift between two communist parties. The dramatic military conflict takes place at a naval base in Albania, a location that the Soviets did not dare to take control of. Besnik observes the emerging tensions and the consequences of these historical events.
