Mike Stone receives an unexpected visit from his married daughter Jeannie, who now lives in Seattle. He wants to celebrate her arrival and invites Inspector Steve Keller to dinner, but he doesn't show up. Mike searches for his former partner, who turns out to be a crime victim, and comes across a series of murders with David as a new teammate.
