Avenida Brasília Formosa plot

A poor, centrally located neighborhood in the Brazilian city of Recife has been changing since houses on the beach were forced to make way for a highway. How do the residents of the neighborhood experience their lives, and what do they dream of? A local waiter would rather carry his video camera than a tray, while a hairdresser hopes for a spot in the Big Brother house. An older fisherman and a boy also open up their lives.
