Apocalypse Love Story plot

After losing her father in an apocalyptic event that wipes out all of humanity, Samantha finds herself on an abandoned military base where she lives in complete solitude for an unknown but prolonged period of time. Sam has learned to be a survivor from her father. While searching for food in one of the hundreds of abandoned military homes on the base, Sam meets an eight-year-old boy named James. When their supply of fresh water begins to run low, they are confronted with the reality that their oasis on the military base has always been temporary. Eventually, they must leave, for good.
