Anzukko plot

Heishiro Hirayama is Kyoko's concerned, kind father, who refuses to marry her. Then she falls for a war veteran, but a childhood friend of hers intervenes and manages to court her. However, once they live in Tokyo for a while, Kyoko's husband gradually shows his true nature. Heishiro demands that they return, unaware that his status as an acclaimed writer only increases his son-in-law's resentment.
