The mysterious and confused young man Finn has set his sights on the impressionable but strong-willed Eliza. After discovering that they both suffer from family trauma, they grow closer as friends. Although their friendship soon turns into romance, Finn becomes too obsessed due to the underlying mental health issues he often has to battle. But when he tries to protect Eliza from her dysfunctional family, he takes his obsession too far, with dire consequences for everyone.
