Mariana (15) grows up in a multicultural part of Oslo, in an environment where girls have to fight for the right to be themselves in a male chauvinistic youth universe. Mariana is madly in love with Ali, the "fuckboy" at the school, and occasionally loses herself in her own wild fantasies. But when her older brother Hector decides to join the Norwegian army on a mission to Afghanistan, Mariana's family is left with a huge void in their hearts.
